Rachael Sage

Collected Sounds was lucky enough to have the opportunity to host the lovely and fabulously talented Rachael Sage who put on one hell of a show.

She was charming, glamorous, and very funny. Her voice is spectacular as are her piano playing skills. She even did a couple of spoken word pieces that were very powerful and moving.

She commented that she had never played for so many animals before (three dogs and two cats). One of my cats who is usually afraid of people even came out to enjoy the show and sat on one guest's lap for a good portion of the night.

Rachael sang several songs from her 2003 release "Public Record" and some new tunes from "Ballads and Burlesque" as well as some older ones. I will be posting the set list as soon as I get it.

The house was filled with piano music and happiness and it was great! It makes me want a piano even more than I already did.

I will also post more photos when I have time to get them web-ready. So keep checking back.

I want to thank everyone who came and helped to make the show a smashing success. We had one of our largest turnouts ever and that always helps to make a better show for both the performers and the guests.
